The Challenge

The Superior Court of Arizona required a complete terrazzo flooring renovation to replace a 50-year-old system was dark and dated. The goal was to create a brighter, more modern appearance while keeping the courthouse fully operational throughout construction. Due to the occupied environment, all work had to be performed during after-hours shifts. The project also presented significant logistical challenges, requiring materials and equipment to be transported through elevators and common areas while adhering to strict government facility safety and security regulations.

The Solution

We installed our Terrazzo floor system including:
- Industrial diamond grinding to a csp 3
- 100% Solids Epoxy primer

- Terrazzo Mixture (100% solids epoxy with terrazzo aggregates)

- Grind floor and apply a Densifier

- Grind floor again and apply a Sealer

The Result

Brilliant Epoxy Floors successfully transformed the aging terrazzo into a bright, modern flooring system that revitalized the space while preserving the durability and longevity terrazzo is known for. Through careful planning and coordination, the project was completed with minimal disruption to daily court operations, providing the Superior Court with an attractive, low-maintenance floor designed to serve the facility for decades to come.
